In Orlando, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Florida, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Orlando is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

What a wonderful way to spend some time inside Dave was a great tour guide and we got to learn a lot about chocolate and the process. The hot chocolate was so good. And they have so many different types and flavors . I loved the chocolate sculptures or different places and people.

We stopped by the Chocolate Museum for a quick visit before getting back on the highway, and we're glad we did! The staff was super friendly, and of course we couldn't leave without buying some chocolate. They also told us they offer guided tours every hour on the hour. We didn't have enough time to stay for one this trip, but we'll definitely be back soon to take the tour!

Great little museum tour! We went to the Chocolate Museum while on vacation in Orlando and really enjoyed it. The tour was $19 per person and about 45 minutes long. Our tour guide was Dave and he did a great entertaining tour of the history of the cocoa bean and how it came to be the chocolate we know today. You get samples of several different kinds/flavors of chocolate from all over the world and they also have them all available for purchase. They also sell pastries, coffee, hot chocolate and ice cream in the cafe. We enjoyed it and would definitely recommend if you want something different than going to the theme parks in the summer heat

We enjoyed the tour! We got there early and sat in the cafe with one of their beverages. The tour was good. Our guide was personal, funny and polite. We saw a video, then our guide took us though rooms explaining the history of chocolate, there were items to touch and smell! There's a room with moulded chocolates on display that we're beautiful. Then we got to do a chocolate tasting at the end! We thought it was great!
